On November 20-21, 2008, The Corporate Council on Africa was pleased to host representatives from U.S. and African businesses and governments at the 2008 U.S.-Africa Private Sector Health Forum, which took place at The Washington Court Hotel in Washington, D.C. Participants included senior U.S. and African private and public sector leaders, leading companies and entrepreneurs with investments in African health, financial institutions facilitating private sector investments in Africa, and international, regional and bilateral institutions supporting private sector partnerships.
