The 2008 U.S.-Africa Private Sector Health Forum will focus on opportunities for private sector investment in health care and delivery in Africa, including medical franchising, leveraged partnerships, innovative financing mechanisms, risk pooling and health insurance, policy and regulatory incentives, human capacity development and social entrepreneurship.

The forum will bring together senior U.S. and African public and private sector leadership, including representatives from leading companies already investing in African health , financial institutions interested in private sector investments in Africa,  and international and regional organizations with a vested interest in the private-for-profit provision of health care in Africa.
