This is the first year that CCA will hold the annual Gala Award Dinner. CCA is expecting 2000 participants, including key public and private sector leaders from the U.S. and Africa as well as a host of celebrities.
Attire: black tie or national dress
Tickets
If you are registered for the U.S.-Africa Business Summit your Gala Dinner ticket will be included in your registration packet.
If you are not registered for the Summit, you may purchase a ticket to attend the Gala Award Dinner for $250.00. Please click here to purchase a ticket.
For checks received after June 16th, tickets will be held at "Will Call" the night of the Gala Award Dinner. CCA cannot guarantee admission for checks mailed to our office after June 16th.
Translation
If you are only attending the Gala Awards Dinner and need translation, a headset will be available for you. Please pick up the headset at the assigned booth. A $25.00 deposit will be taken for the headset and returned when the headset is returned at the conclusion of the Gala Award Dinner.
If you are registered for the Summit you will receive a headset at registration to keep throughout the Summit. In order to avoid a charge for the headset, it must be returned at the conclusion of the Summit.
Parking at the Washington Hilton
Doggett's Garage (Entrance on T Street or 19th Street) The special parking fee for attendees of the Gala Awards Dinner is $9.00. You must inform the parking attendant that you are attending the Gala Award Dinner to receive the discounted parking rate. If you do not specify that you are attending the Gala Award Dinner you may be charged the normal parking fee of $19.00.
There will not be staff at the event providing parking stickers, discounts or validations.
