Ms. Mmasekgoa Masire-Mwamba is the Chief Executive Officer of the Botswana Export Development and Investment Authority (BEDIA) and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh (USA) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Electronics; from the University of London (UK). She has been associated with the Botswana Telecommunications Corporation for the past fifteen years. During that period she advanced from engineer through various stages of management to the executive management.
Mmasekgoa has extensive technical and management experience gained at a senior level in the telecommunications industry. Her broad viewpoint and contact arena were substantially enhanced by a recent two year assignment with the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation based in London. In this role, she successfully developed and managed a business development manager’s programme across the Commonwealth member states.
