Mr. Howe has recently retired after a successful international career spanning four continents. He now resides in Cameroon where he continues to be active in the private sector and holds several non-executive directorships in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, including non-executive Chairman of BAT, Cameroon. He is also currently managing a start-up company in the financial services sector.
Mr. Howe was recently re-elected as deputy chairman of the Cameroon Employer’s Federation (GICAM) and is also chairman of the board of the American International School of Yaounde.
Upon his retirement in 2001, he was decorated as “Chevalier de l’Ordre de Valeur” for service in Cameroon.
He is fluent in Spanish and French and spends his free time sailing off the east coast of England and playing golf.
