AMOS A. AVIDAN is Principal VP and Manager of Petroluen & Chemicals
Technologies at Bechtel. He is also a Bechtel Fellow. He obtained his
Ph.D. Degree in Chemical Engineering, from the City University of New
York.
Amos's Fields of expertise are LNG, upstream oil and gas engineering,
gas-to-liquids, refining technologies, modeling and advanced control. He
has published more than 80 technical publications and atents.
Amos manages Bechtel's technology centers of excellence, which include LNG
and gas plants, refining, chemicals, and licensing. Before joining Bechtel,
Amos was Manager of Mobil's Upstrean Surface Surface Engineering department
and Vice President of Technology for Mobil Global Gas & Power responsible
