The Interface of International Trade & Global Security |
| Description |
In today's global environment, trade and security can no longer be dealt with in isolation. The requirement to introduce new policies, laws, and regulations and devote more resources to strengthen trade and security infrastructure is a particular challenge for the developing and least developed countries. This panel will present some of the current concepts that attempt to balance trade and security--with specific emphasis on the concerns of African countries.
