Workshop Description:

The requirement to introduce new policies, laws, and regulations and devote more resources to strengthen trade and security infrastructure is a particular challenge for the developing and least developed countries. This panel will present some of the current concepts that attempt to balance trade and security--with specific emphasis on the concerns of African countries.
