August 23, 2000: CCA Launches Maghreb Working Group

In response to commercial interests of its member companies, the Corporate Council on Africa is pleased to announce the expansion of its Algeria Working Group to include a broader focus on Algeria, Morocco, Libya and Tunisia, called the Maghreb Working Group. Ambassador Robert Pelletreau, Chairman of the Algeria Working Group and former Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, will serve as Chairman of the Maghreb Working Group. CCA intends to kick-off the Maghreb Working Group with a luncheon for member companies in honor of the newly-arrived Moroccan Ambassador in September.
