Doing Business with Africa 2000/1

In October 2001 and in collaboration with Business Books International, CCA published Doing Business with Africa 2000/1, the first comprehensive guide for US companies seeking to do business with Africa. The guide contains continent-wide and country-specific historical, statistical, political and economic data and is supplemented by more than 100 color maps, graphs and tables.

Doing Business with Africa 2000/1 has won praise throughout the US business community. HSBC Equator Bank CEO Franklin Kennedy asserted that the guide "is essential reading for any US corporation or entrepreneur who has not yet focused on Africa." Frank Savage, Chairman of Alliance Capital Management International, held that the book "aimed at both beginners and old Africa hands, [and] is a timely tool right at the beginning of what might well be Africa's millennium." Ambassador Andrew Young, Chairman of GoodWorks International, affirmed that "this premier business publication highlights the many factors that make the continent conducive to all aspects of business and trade with the wider world…"
