The Nigeria Working Group, chaired by former U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria William H. Twaddell, engages CCA members and policymakers on issues that affect commercial relations with Nigeria. The Working Group seeks to create a valuable forum for the exchange of ideas and the establishment of a common agenda for CCA and its Nigerian private sector counterparts. The Nigeria Working Group frequently meets with key American and Nigerian Government officials, multilateral groups, and business leaders to discuss relevant policy and business issues. CCA has hosted on several occasions President Olusegun Obasanjo and Vice President Atiku Abubakar for dinners and events in the U.S. and Nigeria.
