2001 U.S.-Africa Business Summit
“Building Global Partnerships”
October 30-November 2, 2001
Philadelphia, PA
The Corporate Council on Africa's third U.S.-Africa Business Summit was the premier gathering of U.S and African business and government leaders in 2001. The Summit was an unprecedented effort in attracting more than 700 African businesses to meet potential U.S. business partners. The event's main goals were to foster export/import trading; promote foreign direct investment in Africa; identify agents, representatives and distributors; and explore joint venture partnerships and strategic alliances.
