U.S. - Africa Business Forum Cotonou, Benin
September 18-19, 2000
As a result of the inaugural US - Africa Business Forum in December 1999, the U.S.-Export Import Bank has approved six projects in Ghana totaling nearly US$6 million and an additional 25 deals from West Africa are in the pipeline.
The meeting will be held over a two-day period. The business forum will take place on September 18 with the following day set aside for American and African business representatives to follow-up on individual business proposals.

Participation in the US - Africa Business Forum is free of charge. Participants are required to make their own travel arrangements. CCA has negotiated a room rate of CFA 62,500 (approximately US$ 89) per night for WAIBL participants at the Sheraton Benin.
