CCA meets the needs of its member corporations with the following programs:

The Meetings Program - CCA coordinates special private meetings for Member Corporations with senior African and Administration leaders. Most prominently, the Council hosted dinners for the presidents of Nigeria, Mozambique, Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, Guinea and the Gambia. Tailored to fit specific member needs, these events offer invaluable insights and access for Council members to these leaders. CCA has also recently held Meetings Programs with the Prime Ministers of Chad and Cameroon, Uganda's Minister of Energy, Nigeria's Minister of Industry, and the head of the privatization program for the DROC.

Policy Advocacy - With the goal of championing the role of the private sector in Africa's economic development, CCA works to stimulate dialogue on key African Affairs issues, and strengthen the voice of its members with important U.S. and African policy makers. CCA liases with key Administration and Congressional offices on issues of interest to Council members, and closely monitors initiatives that impact African commercial relations. CCA played an integral role in the final passage of the African Growth and Opportunity Act.

Policy Working Groups CCA offers its members selected country or regional Working Groups related to key areas of major corporate policy interest. Chaired by distinguished former Ambassadors, Working Groups provide a forum for members to discuss policy issues that affect the investment and business climate in Africa. Working Groups also seek to educate senior African and American policy makers on issues of concern to U.S. corporations.
