Danya assembled a team of international and local organizations to design and implement a multidimensional communication strategy and training program to accomplish the greatest impact. The Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator (OGAC) needed to connect people and resources across agencies and around the world—rapidly and efficiently. The government challenged Danya to develop and deliver connectivity and the technical and social solutions needed to create the virtual collaborative community. Danya met the challenge to answer the needs of OGAC's global offices by using a Web-based extranet portal (PEPFAR.net) that provides the technology for information dissemination, online collaboration, and knowledge management.
