Providing on-the-ground technical assistance, guidance and support is an important component of the CCA HIV/AIDS Initiative work. Team members have worked closely with CCA members and other private sector representatives in-country to assist them in building capacity, financing initiatives, developing and implementing programs, and monitoring and evaluating outcomes.

- Senegal: The African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA III) Forum. July 2005. Although the main purpose of the AGOA bill is to promote trade and investment between the United States and Africa, the AGOA III bill recognizes that one of the greatest challenges facing African countries continues to be HIV/AIDS malaria.
- Democratic Republic of Congo: Encouraging Private Sector Participation in the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. Oct 2004. The objective of this mission was to pursue a dialogue with the DRC National AIDS Commission, the PMNLS (Progame National Multisectoriel de Lutte contre le SIDA), and private sector partners on how to build a partnership to support the DRC National Agenda against HIV/AIDS.
- Cameroon: Sida Entreprises, HIV/AIDS and the Private Sector. Sept. 2004. This HIV/AIDS and Business Forum was organized by two French organizations, CIAN (The French Council of Investors in Africa) and SIDA Entreprise with the collaboration of the Cameroonian Business Council, PCGE (La Plate-forme de Coordination Groupe de Entreprises du Cameroun). More than 100 participants attended the Business Forum that took place in Douala, Cameroon from September 23 to September 24, 2004.
- Malawi: Private Sector Mobilization Sub-regional Forum. June 2004. The goal of the Malawi Private Sector Mobilization Forum was to bring together private sector representatives to exchange information and share experiences on issues relating to private sector mobilization in the area of HIV/AIDS. The Forum was held June11-16, 2004 in Blantyre, Malawi and representatives from 12 Sub-Saharan Africa countries attended.
- Senegal: Ebony Coca Cola Festival and Conference on HIV/AIDS and Human Rights. June 2004. CCA participated in the Ebony CocaCola Festival to raise HIV/AIDS awareness and celebrate the hope, spirit and cultures of the African people.
