Global Partnerships

  • Global Health Workforce Alliance (GHWA): The Alliance is a partnership of national governments, civil society, international agencies, finance institutions, researchers, educators and professional associations dedicated to identifying, implementing and advocating for solutions to address the global healthcare worker shortage.
  • IHP+ International Health Partnership and Related Initiatives: IHP+ is a country-led and country-driven partnership that calls for all signatories to accelerate action in order to scale-up coverage and use of health services and to deliver improved outcomes against the health-related Millennium Development Goals while honoring commitments to improve universal access to health.
  • Health Metrics Network (HMN): HMN is a global partnership that facilitates better health information at country, regional and global levels. Partners include developing countries, multilateral and bilateral agencies, foundations, other global health partnerships and technical experts. Most importantly, HMN seeks to bring together health and statistical constituencies in order to build capacity and expertise and enhance the availability, quality, dissemination and use of data for decision-making.
